The Covid - 19 adventures

The worlds new true currency.

The worlds new true currency.

Day  4986 of this lock down.  Society as we know it has changed.  The freedoms we used to enjoy with out a second thought are all but gone.

We took it for granted getting up and going to work.  Now the reality is people have been furloughed with no idea when they can go back to work.

We can’t interact with our loved ones, our family and friends can only really be reached by video call or voice call.  Our lives are different.   Very different!

When you walk down the street you can see the sheer panic in some peoples faces when you approach them as they cautiously move out of your way some smile politely others see you as a potentially virus spreader.  Others you can’t even see their faces as they are covered by masks.

I miss the pubs and bars and eating in restaurants.  Most of all i miss interacting with people, listening to their stories and seeing different people on a daily basis

Will life ever be the same again?  Time will only tell.

That being said there are some positives for that have come from this.

People now have a greater understanding of personal space.  Some don’t but the majority do.

I’ve developed patience on a whole new level.  I don’t mind the queues at the stores it’s the same for everyone.  Why stress about it.

Currently I’m saving nearly 90 mins per day by not commuting.  Amazing, i now have time to write blogs and do things I’d like.

The IGTV DJ sessions with @standoutgeorge have been amazing.  Thank you George.

Everybody is trying to be an Instagram star with home workouts.  There are some amazing people out there that are spreading good vibes and their knowledge.  Most have been doing this all their professional career.  Others seem to think it’s a get rich quick scheme.  That being said i don’t think the world has moved and exercised this ever before.  Which is great to see.  Boredom is a can be wonderful thing if you have the will not to be bored.  I’m no longer bored when i work out.  I look forward to it,although i miss the gym and steam rooms.  They will return one day. Can’t wait for that.

As this lock down continues and the “RONA” continues to claim lives.  We don’t know when the end will come.

All I will say is we are all adaptable and courageous people.  Be kind. Stay Home and Stay Safe.

Most of all use the opportunity.
